Have you ever bought something for your home but t Have you ever bought something for your home but then ended up using it in a completely different spot? Well, I bought the art above my kitchen nook to go above my entryway bench and it was way too large for the space. Those of you that know me well know that I skip past all the boring stuff - like prep work, reading instructions, etc.… and yes, measuring things. I’m not saying it’s a good thing… and in fact it gets me in a lot of trouble at times 😬😳🤣 - but there it is. Funnily enough, things seem to work out anyway! I love it’s new home! It just adds even more warmth to our kitchen nook. And as for the entryway decor… I’ve decided to hang an antique mirror and some sconces instead. I found the coolest sconces on Amazon! New England winters can be long, cold, and snowy!  Don’t get me wrong… I love the snow BUT I want to be sure that my deck, stairs, and walkway are safe for not only my family but my guests too! Cue HeatTrak electric mats! Each mat is ensured with Edge-to-Edge Power - Melting snow up to the edge of each mat for maximum coverage. They melt about 2” of snow per hour and are engineered to be left out all winter. Installation couldn’t be easier. Simply roll out each mat, connect the watertight cables, and plug into a power source.  Just be sure to turn the mats on an hour before a pending storm and don’t turn them off until two hours after the storm is done. These mats are made to be kept out all winter long which is a huge plus! We finally got a good amount of snow and our farm We finally got a good amount of snow and our farm dog, Mona is loving it! Swipe through ➡️ For those of you guys who are new around here, Mona is a livestock guardian dog. She takes care of our farm animals - making sure they are safe from any predators. Just this morning we caught her in the pigpen just hanging out with the pigs. She’s so chill with the animals. They’ll come up and plop down next to her or just sniff her and she just lays there. Don’t be fooled though. We had a coyote on our property yesterday and she chased it off. She can be really aggressive if she thinks any of us or the animals are in danger. As a mom, It makes me feel better about letting my kids go off and build forts in the woods.
