These different accents can help boost the theme you want to go for if you want to go more classic, rustic, or modern!

I think this is a simple twist on the farmhouse style to make it look more modern. With the growing popularity of cool whites, some have started to move towards gray paint and siding. 

Classic or Modern Gray exterior paint colors
